When number of parts/prototypes to be manufactured more than 3-5, vacuum casting or reaction injection molding (RIM) techniques are being used. If parts to be manufactured are small or middle size and carrying intricate details such as bosses and ribs, vacuum casting is preferred. For parts middle or big in size and relatively simple in details RIM is preferred.

In vacuum casting a reference part is required in order to cast silicone mold which is to be used for manufacturing. Since silicone material replicates all details and surface properties of reference part on molds, quality of reference part is very important and vital for life of silicone molds and quality of replicated parts. In vacuum casting with one set of silicone mold 20-30 parts can be replicated.
In RIM technique, contrary to vacuum casting, molds machined from PUR blocks or aluminum are being used. Depending on mold design even sliders or split cores can be used. In RIM technique mold design is also affective on part quality in addition to surface quality of molds. In RIM technique 100-200 parts can be manufactured with one set mold.
Upon request of our customers we are manufacturing casting patterns, low pressure RIM and composite molds by using PUR blocks and aluminum materials. All patterns and molds being manufactured are also being designed within our company.
